Warm, creamy oatmeal topped with toasted pecans, brown sugar, and a pat of butter. Comfort in a bowl.

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Cream or milk for serving

    Bring water or milk and salt to a boil. Stir in oats and reduce heat to medium-low.
