In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
Add the shredded chicken, halved grapes, chopped pecans, celery, and sweet onion to the dressing.
Mix lightly until all ingredients are evenly coated. Be gentle to keep the grapes intact.
