A rich, boozy twist on the classic pecan pie with a splash of bourbon that adds depth and warmth to every bite.

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked deep-dish pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Fit pie crust into a deep-dish pie plate.

  2. 2

Beat eggs in a large bowl. Whisk in corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, bourbon, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

  3. 3

Stir in pecan halves and pour the mixture into the prepared crust.

  4. 4

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, until the filling is puffed and set around the edges but slightly jiggly in the very center.

  5. 5

If the crust edges brown too quickly, cover them with foil strips after 30 minutes.

  6. 6

Let cool completely before serving. Best served with a dollop of whipped cream.
