A hearty Southern stuffing made with crumbled cornbread, toasted pecans, sausage, and fresh herbs. A Thanksgiving essential.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Brown sausage in a large skillet, breaking it into crumbles. Add celery and onion, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, sausage mixture, pecans, sage, and thyme.
Whisk chicken broth, eggs, salt, and pepper together. Pour over the cornbread mixture and stir until evenly moistened.
Transfer to the prepared dish. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden and set in the center.
